Monkey's Bed – Privacy Policy
The short version
- We don't ask for your name, email, location, contacts or photos, and we don't run servers that store information about you.
- Your settings and best score stay on your device.
- The game shows ads from Google AdMob, which uses device identifiers to serve and measure ads. Where the law requires it, we ask your consent first, and you can change your choice at any time in Options → Privacy options.
- If you use the leaderboard, your score is shared with Google Play Games (Android) or Apple Game Center (iOS).
Who we are
Monkey's Bed ("the game") is published by Imagine Mobile Inc. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information is handled when you play Monkey's Bed on Android or iOS, and the choices you have.
Information stored on your device
The game saves your sound, vibration and background settings and your best score on your device. We don't receive this information. On Android it may be included in your device's own backup (for example Google's Android backup), which is controlled by your device settings. Uninstalling the game deletes it from the device.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game is free and supported by ads: full-screen ads between games, and optional rewarded ads you can choose to watch for a continue. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which may collect and process:
- device identifiers such as the Android Advertising ID or Apple's IDFA (on iOS, only if you allow tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt);
- IP address, device model, operating system, language and approximate location derived from the IP address;
- ad interactions (ads shown and tapped), and diagnostic data used to prevent fraud and measure ad performance.
Google uses this information as described in Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Consent. Where required, including in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the game shows Google's consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) before any ads are requested. You can review or change your choice at any time in Options → Privacy options. If you don't consent to personalised ads, you may still see non-personalised ads.
Your ad settings. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads). On iOS you can control tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Leaderboards (Google Play Games / Apple Game Center)
On Android the game uses Google Play Games Services, which may sign you in automatically with your Play Games profile. When you're signed in, your score and Play Games player ID (gamer name and avatar) are sent to Google to show the leaderboard. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, and you control your Play Games profile and visibility in the Google Play Games settings.
On iOS the game uses Apple Game Center in the same way, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. You can sign out of Game Center in Settings → Game Center.
You can play the game without signing in. Your scores then stay on your device.

We don't sell your personal information. We don't use the data described here for anything other than the purposes listed.
Children
Monkey's Bed is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we'll help remove it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Because we don't store personal information on our own servers, most of these requests are handled directly by Google or Apple through the tools linked above. For anything else, contact us and we'll respond within the time the law requires.
Security and retention
Information on your device stays there until you clear the game's data or uninstall it. Information processed by Google and Apple is kept according to their policies. We rely on these providers' security measures and choose providers that meet app store requirements.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the game changes. We'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and where the law requires it we'll ask for your consent again.
